Unfinished Business.

An unconventional application from a different kind of builder.

I'm a former Shopify employee, but my story here actually started before I joined.

I was part of Tictail, a New York- and Stockholm-based e-commerce startup that Shopify acquired in 2018. I helped build its People operations and later supported the integration into Shopify.

Then COVID changed the trajectory of my career, and my time at Shopify ended before I'd accomplished what I came to do.

But I never stopped building.

Since then, I've led People initiatives across high-growth businesses, global organizations, and companies navigating significant change. I've built teams, developed leaders, introduced systems, and helped organizations find their footing in ambiguity.

And I've gotten better at it.

What I Build

I don't build software. I build the organizational infrastructure that helps exceptional people do exceptional things.

My work lives at the intersection of talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership, and execution.

I know how to operate without a playbook, challenge assumptions, and turn complicated people problems into practical solutions.

And I know that even the most ambitious strategy is only as good as the people and systems that bring it to life.

Why Shopify? Why Now?

I'm not looking to return to the HRBP role I once held.

I'm interested in contributing to Shopify's Talent Strategy — helping shape how the company identifies, develops, and enables exceptional talent in an increasingly AI-driven world.

I know this application is unconventional. That's intentional.

Shopify is looking for extraordinary builders. I believe building extraordinary organizations deserves a place in that conversation.

I didn't get to finish what I started. But I didn't stop building, either.

And I'd love to see what we could build next.
